Logo Design Contest
DEADLINE: Wednesday, April 1, 2009 – 12:00 noon
COMPETITION GUIDELINES
PURPOSE: The Downtown Alliance seeks a new logo design of the highest quality The art must present a positive, distinct visual image that captures the essence of Downtown Fayetteville. The winning art will be used for the purpose of all Downtown Alliance branding, marketing, advertising and promotion deemed appropriate by the Downtown Alliance. ELIGIBILITY: Participants must reside in North Carolina. All submitted artwork will be judged without discrimination based on race, religion, sex, marital status, national origin, or creed. All work must be original work by the artist submitting the entry.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:• Attach COMPLETED entry form on back, top, right corner• The design should be submitted via email to chrisvilla41@hotmail.com. Winning artist must be able to provide image in various formats – .jpg, .pdf, and .eps or disk • For graphic design submissions, please include our mantra "SHOP*EAT*PLAY*LIVE DOWNTOWN FAYETTEVILLE
SELECTION CRITERIA: Judging will be based upon:• Artistic creativity• Marketability of design as it relates to our usage• Judges are not obligated to select a winning design from submitted entries
DEADLINE: No entry accepted after 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2009
WINNING ARTIST: Winning artist will be awarded $500.00 for all reproduction rights. Prize donated by C. John Malzone Marketing.
The Downtown Alliance. will not assume responsibility for loss or damage to submitted work. The winning art and its reproduction rights will become the exclusive property of the Downtown Alliance and may be employed for other uses as the Downtown Alliance sees fit. The winning entry may be altered at the discretion of the Downtown Alliance. All entries not picked up by 12:00 Noon on Friday, April 3, 2009 will become the property of the Downtown Alliance and may be used by the Downtown Alliance without compensation to the artist.
