Huske Unplugged: Kenny Huffman

Huske Hardware's“Huske Unplugged” will host Kenny Huffman, starting at 7pm and playing until the crowd dies down.

Huffman is a Fayetteville favorite who plays light accoustic melodies.

LaFayette Birthday Celebration

The Lafayette Society will celebrate the birthday of Fayetteville's namesake the Marquis de LaFayette with a guided tour of the LaFayette Trail and a catered luncheon under the Market House.

The tour will be guided by F.I.L.I. Commander Bruce Dawes, and will begin at 9 a.m. There will also be other presentations and a fencing tournament in Downtown Fayetteville throughout the day.

Advace ticket purchase required for the tour and luncheon. Tickets are $25 per person.

Members Meeting

The September meeting of the Downtown Alliance membership will begin at 6 p.m. and will be held at SFL+A Architects, located at 241 Burgess Street in Downtown Fayetteville.

Don Spry will speak about Small Business Administration. He is based in Wilmington and as the Senior Area Manager for the US Small Business Administration, provides outreach, education, access to capital, and consultative business management services to small business entrepreneurs and commecial lenders. This serves to enhance job creation and economic development in the 16-counties of southeast North Carolina.

DL Token is a Fayetteville-based band fronted by Jeremy Strathers. With an alternative acoustic sound, the band has become a crowd favorite in Fayetteville.
