Downtown Alliance Fourth Friday
Come to Historic Downtown Fayetteville on Friday, August 28th for the monthly Downtown Alliance Fourth Friday Celebration. Each month there are new musicians to listen to, exhibits to see, and friends to meet. Parking is free after 5 p.m. and the entertainment starts around 6 p.m.
Enjoy free music outside, grab a bite to eat at one of the many unique restaurants, and shop the diverse merchandise of downtown boutiques and stores. There will be musicians and artists around every corner. This is something you don't want to miss!

Double Digits!
The membership meeting on July 13 marked the Downtown Alliance's 10th Anniversary. Members and volunteers met at Docks at the Capital at for the meeting and celebration. During the meeting, the volunteers that have been with the Downtown Alliance for the last ten years were recognized and the Volunteer of the Year was awarded.
The ten-year volunteers recognized at the meeting are Mary Joan Fredette, Edith Lewis, Charles Loney, Nettie McQueen, Marie Melvin, Harold Thompson, Claze Washington and Adele Young. Thank you again for your service to the Downtown Alliance for the past ten years.
The Volunteer of the Year Award went to Kelvin Jacobs for his hard work and leadership for the past two years with the Downtown Alliance.
New executives were selected by the Nominating Committee. The new leadership will guide the Downtown Alliance for the next two years. The executive board is now: President Chris Villa, Vice President Cindy Nickel-Bakker, Treasurer Larry Clubine and Secretary Cindy Oziemblowsky.
